Day 1
Arrive in Jammu and drive to Katra
As soon as you arrive at Guwahati Railway Station/ Airport, meet our travel agent, who will escort you to Shillong. Upon reaching there, complete the check-in formalities and relax. On the way, take a halt at Umiam Lake, outlined by Sylvan Hills.Once you reach Shillong, check in to the hotel and unwind. The rest of the day is at leisure that you can enjoy according to your wish. Later, sleep overnight peacefully at the hotel.
Day 2
Shillong Sightseeing
Relish a healthy breakfast and be ready to visit Mawlynnong Village, which has been credited as the cleanest village in Asia. As you arrive here, visit the Living Root Bridge and observe the natural balancing rock that presents a peculiar natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Take advantage of the sight of the Indo-Bangladesh Border from here—Head to Dawki – a town in East Jaintia Hills.The gurgling waterfalls present an enthralling sight on the way. There, you will be greeted by Umngot River, which is believed to be the cleanest in the country and has crystal clear waters. Enjoy a boat ride on these waters for a fantastic experience. After an enjoyable day, return to the hotel in Shillong for a peaceful and relaxed sleep.
Day 3
Cheerapunji Arrival
Relish a hearty morning breakfast and then check out from the hotel. Set out to Cheerapunji – the wettest place on earth, second to Mawsynram. On the way, visit the Mawkdok Valley – a very prominent sightseeing attraction. Nohsngithiang Falls is the next tourist place to visit here. The falls are the epitome of the Unity of the Seven States of North East India, thus the name. Some other attractions are Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park. You can catch a glimpse of the Sylhet Plains in neighbouring Bangladesh. Enjoy the scenic route and reach the destination to check in at the hotel and have a restful sleep.Day 4
Guwahati Arrival
After a wholesome breakfast, check out from the hotel as the day takes you to Guwahati. On the way, take a halt at the major attractions of Shillong. Visit the Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Ward’s Lake, and Cathedral Catholic Church. Enjoy sightseeing and reach Guwahati. Visit the Alfresco Cruise Ride that will take you to the middle of River Brahmaputra. Later, check into the hotel and sleep peacefully.Day 5
