Hanuman Garhi – Nestled high in the castle, it is believed that one must pay a visit to Hanuman Garhi before going to the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. The temple is devoted to the most divine companion of Lord Rama, Lord Hanuman. The temple is located on a hill and has a 76-foot stairway, which gives a panoramic view of Ayodhya city. The temple comprises idols of Lord Hanuman and Mother Anjani. It is the most crowded during Hanuman Jayanti, the day when Lord Hanuman was born.

Nageshwarnath Temple – Located in Ram ki Paidi, legend has it that the Nageshwarnath Temple was built by one of the sons of Lord Rama, Kush. Since he was an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, he made the temple in his name. During Shivratri and Shiva Barat, the temple is crowded with devotees in huge numbers. The temple has several nagas worshipping Lord Shiva amidst the beautiful architecture temple.
