Tour Itinerary

Your tour will begin with a pickup from your hotel in Jaipur city limits.
Later you will be driven to Bhangarh Fort, the most haunted place in Rajasthan name called Bhangarh village which are situated in the Alwar district in Rajasthan.
Next we will take you to the Chand Baori (Step well) is the combination of steps and well where the water goes on a pond in descending order and collect the water in well.
After the completion of your tour, you will be driven back to Jaipur and be dropped at your hotel in the city limits.

Bhangarh Fort

Bhangarh Fort or Bhangarh ka Quila is situated in Alwar district in Rajasthan in India. This ancient township was founded in the later half of the 16th century A.D. by Raja Bhagwant Das, the then Ruler of Amber and later on it was made capital of Madho Singh, brother of Raja Man Singh.

The remains of Bhangarh consist of fort walls, gateways, markets, havelis, temples, royal palace, chhatris, tomb etc. Important Temples are Gopinath, Someshwara, Keshav Rai and Mangla Devi, all in Nagara style of temple architecture. The Royal Palace said to have seven storeys but now only four storeys remain. Whole Fort campus was protected by three successive fortifications. The outer most fortification is provided with five Gateways from North to South named Ajmeri, Lahori, Hanuman, Phool Bari, and Delhi Gate.

Abhaneri (Chand Baori)

Abhaneri, also spelled Abaneri, is a village in the Dausa district of the Indian state of Rajasthan. Abhaneri is popular for the Chand Baori step well and Harshat Mata Temple.

The Chand Baori is one of the oldest, deepest and largest baoris (stepwells) in Rajasthan. The oldest parts of the structure date back to the 8th century, and significant additions were made in the 18th century. The stepwell consists of three flight of stairs descending into the earth with a subterranean palace on one side. The flight of stairs and the palace are arranged in a square pattern with the well lying at the bottom. The flight of steps descends thirteen stories.

The Harshat Mata Temple is located near the Chand Baori. It was a ritual to wash hands and feet at Chand Baori before visiting the temple. It is dedicated to Harshat Mata, the goddess of joy and happiness. It was constructed in the 8th century. Substantially destroyed by Islamic invaders in the 10th Century, the remains of the temple still boast architectural and sculptural styles of 10th Century India. The temple is on a raised platform from where unrestricted views of nearby fertile regions can be seen. A small village nearby houses many artisans.
