Number of people per ride: A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 riders are flown in a ride.Safari Details:
- You will be picked up early in the morning around 4:45 - 5:30 am depending on the hotel in the area.
- Jaipur Balloon Safari lasts approximately 60 minutes with a total experience of 3.5 to 4 hours from pick up to drop off at your hotel or location in the city.
- The balloon reaches different altitudes depending on the topography and climate of the location. The Maximum elevation is approximately 1200 feet from the ground level.
- During the safari, relish some refreshments at the launch site such as tea, coffee & juices, and cookies before take-off.
- After completion of the Safari, guests will get a first flight certificate signed by the pilot.
- You also get a choice to buy photos and videos taken from your flight. (Offered to the guests after the flight, as sometimes the camera may not work due to technical issues)
- At the landing site you will get to interact and take pictures with local villagers depending on the landing site.
- You will generally be transferred back to the hotel or at your desired location by approximately 9:00 - 9:30 am.
- Guests are suggested to wear appropriate clothes and avoid having heavy food before take-off.
- At the time of the safari, you should follow the instructions given by the safari guide.
General guidelines:
- The minimum age to board the balloon is 5 years with a minimum height of 1.5 meters. Maximum can be any.
- Pregnant women are not allowed to fly, considering the safety of them and their child.
Best time for Hot Air Ballooning –
However, balloon rides are available throughout the year. April to June is too hot for evening rides. September to November is ideal to catch the scenic vistas of the city. Since air ballooning is best enjoyed when the climate is pleasantly calming with no heavy rains, these months are when high winds have died down. Take up either morning or evening ride sessions for enjoying the balloon ride.
